About Amsterdam
Amsterdam is the largest city in the Netherlands, and one of the most popular tourist towns in Europe. An air ticket to Amsterdam will give you an opportunity to experience the special atmosphere of the city's many canals – with over 100 kilometres of them, it is not for nothing that Amsterdam is called the Venice of the North.

Amsterdam's canals are the setting for many large and small musical events every year, including Aqua Music and the Grachtenfestival, which allow visitors to enjoy Amsterdam’s beautiful canals and waterside areas to the full.

Amsterdam enjoys a central location in the Netherlands, so an air ticket to Amsterdam will afford you good opportunities to visit the other large and exciting Dutch towns. Den Haag and Rotterdam can be reached in less than two hours, while the smaller towns of Leiden, Utrecht and Eindhoven lie between 30 and 80 minutes from Amsterdam by train.
